Culver Academies’ Student Pioneers a Food Waste Reduction Program
Charles is helping his school divert extra food into microwaveable meals that are shared with Meals on Wheels and the Culver Food Pantry.
Our services include:
- Fun classroom presentations for kids grades K-12 that correspondence with State standards
- Classes here at the Depot or in the community on topics such as composting, the 3 R’s, reducing household hazardous waste, and conserving natural resources
- Talks for civic or community groups on topics related to our mission
- A lending library of books and DVDs, including some of the latest documentaries
- On-site tours of the Recycle Depot

- Open the first and third Saturdays of every month from 8-Noon

- This facility serves Marshall County residents only.
- We do not haul or dispose of residential or commercial trash.
- Some fees apply to tire and e-waste drop-off.
- Please see our list of unacceptable items.
- If you are a business, please be advised we only work with Very Small Quantity Generators. Before you load up your vehicle, please use the link above to schedule your visit in advance before you bring us your materials. Thank you!
